Decided on mostly a whim to look up some Ramona Flowers cosplay and found a cute picture so I thought I'd share them here. I'll try to give credit where credit is due.
I like this one a lot. For one, she's smiling and it's simple. I think it would be even cuter with fishnets but uh, I might be biased on that one.
A little tiny bit NSFW but still pretty cute. The shorts and bra are still pretty Ramona-y. But I saved the best find for last!
Not sure if she managed to get a picture of the completed outfit but upon stumbling onto this adorable-ass girl on Flickr I found links to her blog which is equally if NOT MORE CUTE. She blogged about this costume here. I'm so jealous of all her skills and love her style. Already hooked on her blog even though it puts mine to SHAME-Y SHAME SHAME. *adds to favorites* Anywho, just a couple of other cute Ramona things...
Isn't it cute?! I fucking love it! Too bad it's only in JUNIOR sizes though... which are not plus-size friendly but oh well. If you want to buy this shirt and rub it in my face you can do so here.
This picture also lead me to a new favorite obsession (Crafty Crafty Blogazine). It's so perfect and awesome! This bag is actually for sale on Etsy and I want it so bad but not a-hundred-and-thirty-dollars-bad. Yep, that's how much this fantasmagasmic purse will run you since it's handmade and comes straight from Brazil. There's other colors too which makes it so much harder to say no (or so much easier to say to DIY?)
ENOUGH PICTURES. Okay, I must retire to my bed since I've been exhausted for about two weeks. Don't worry, I'll be bitchi- I mean, blogging about that soon. Until then, stay excellent, bros.

Who's REALLY the d-bag?
So, a personal blog for today. I know, I know. I keep promising to post a how-to or something of the like but as usual, life gets in the way. I will however introduce you to a couple of my new favorite beauty products that I love in the next few days. It's part of me trying to grow up. I'm actually trying out makeup and I'm taking my purse with me nearly everywhere I go. I'm a woman! Just don't look inside my bag because then you'll see my pink Nintendo DSi with Cooking Mama inside...
Anywho, I've started school up again. I'm really excited about this semester. I'm trying to take it a lot more seriously than I have... ever. I really want to do well. I had gotten so caught up in the environment that I had just gotten sick of it. I really like my classes so far. I just want to be healthier, smarter and happier. 2009 sucked, but I'm determined to make 2010 my best year ever.
On another note, I'm still very much a doormat. Today, in History, a guy asked me to move down a seat because he wanted to sit with his two other buddies. Um, what? Of course, I said yes and moved down. And yes, the rest of the semester I will try to avoid that row so that I won't have to be bullied every other day. I just thought it was a douchebag move. Want to sit with your friends? Get there early and get seats together, you pansies. But seriously, it's a CLASS. You don't HAVE to sit with your friends. I remember when I had a friend in my Sociology class. Usually, he and I would sit next to each other, but when we couldn't we NEVER made anyone try to accommodate us. It's rude. Right?
Another thing, my new French professor is... odd to say the least. Today we were talking about currency and the Euro and she was talking about how most had speculated that the Euro would not be readily accepted. She used US/Canada/Mexico as an example. She contended that we (the US) would not be happy if all of North America had the same currency. I frankly wouldn't because then I couldn't get 13 pesos for my dollar whenever I went to Mexico, which is something I kind of like as sad as it is, but the downfall of precious Mexico's economy is another topic I may cover in passionate fashion on another occasion. Anyway, then she said, "Well, if you encountered a Canadian dollar bill you'd be disgusted because it's not worth anything here,". Er, I'm sorry? I'd be pretty stoked to have a Canadian dollar bill. I've never seen one, nor do I know anyone who has one. Pesos? Yeah, sure. But a Canadian dollar? Never. Then she also contended that we all hold some kind of national pride in the US dollar. I couldn't have imagined anything so vapid... so materialistic. The US dollar doesn't govern me. It wouldn't be anything but a piece of cotton-y paper if the federal reserve didn't say it had some kind of value. National pride in one's currency? I've never heard of such a thing. Why not have pride in something else? The nature, the wildlife, the amazing citizens, the art. Anything but the currency!
Hmmmm.... seems I was on my soapbox for a bit longer than expected. I had also planned on telling you about the small bit of research I've been doing on sexual education advocacy groups. I'm considering joining a group, and once I have more time, possibly trying to get some things done in my city. The amount of teenage pregnancies is alarming. Something ought to be done, don't you think?
Oh, and also, I have one of those Formspring thingies! You can ask me random and anonymous questions here!

Jaded
Hi all! I've been busy... again! Life doesn't stop, of course. I guess I'll catch you up to speed on what's been going on with me.
I've been still working on my podcast with my friend Lila. You can always find that on our podbean site. As I posted before, I have my Etsy shop up! You can find that here. I also set up a Twitter account and a Facebook fan page. I'm so pumped about this, as you can tell. XD
I hope you all had a pleasant holiday and new year. I had a fairly splendid time. I also celebrated my birthday recently. :) My friend Yaneth organized a surprise birthday party for me at Lila's place. It was really great, even if I feel jaded as hell for no longer being a teenager. :D Here's a snapshot.
Also, I got to see my boyfriend! He'd been in Arizona since Christmas Eve. I really missed him. Guess what he got me for my birthday? A Nintendo DSi! A pink one! I'm in love with it! If I wasn't so busy I'd probably be playing around with it all the time.
In other news, I got a car... kind of. I think you all remember the mishap with the family truck? Well, turns out our insurance, Allstate denied our claim, leaving us without any help WHATSOEVER. With no operable vehicle my parents were forced to buy a car. They say it's my car and will be totally my car once they figure out a transportation situation for them. Want to see my car? Of course you do.
It's a Scion xD and it's sexay. I originally wanted a Yaris, but upon being in this one, I knew I wanted it. Black is a wondrous color.
You know what else is a great color? Pink...
Haha. :D Yes, I do plan to use this. Yes, I plan on taking pictures of my journey. Yes, I've never done this before. Yes, it will be a disaster.
Until later, cupcakes.

A Journey Begins
Yes, I am posting AGAIN today. I simply couldn't go without jotting this down and sharing it with you all. When I say you all, I mean the 2-5 of you that read my blog. By the way, thank you for reading. :) Feel free to comment.
Anyhow, I just had dinner (breakfast actually... so is that Brinner?) with my parents and I came up with the greatest idea. I should finally set up an Etsy shop. I'm thrilled about it actually. Very, very thrilled. I've wanted to have a store for a long time, but of course haven't exactly had the kind of financial backing to do so. This is perfect. There is no rent to pay, no bills to pay. I've been in a very crafty mood lately and am simply ADDICTED to Cut Out and Keep. I think it'd be fairly easy for me to churn out homemade trinkets, since it's essentially my hobby to do so already. The only part that scares me is... the SHIPPING! How much do I charge? How do I ship? Aaaaah!
Your input is greatly appreciated. I'm off to make an Etsy account.
Thanks, cupcakes
